I was once an innocent, hopeful, young girl in America. Raised in a military family, with three older brothers, I was coddled and protected, from their perspective. My take on events, however, was drastically different from their experiences. Each person must fight for their own freedom. This is the story of how mine was taken from me and how I fought to get it back, one inch at a time.
