The Regent's Daughter is the sequel to Alexandre Dumas pere's The Conspirators, filled with adventure, romance, royalty, intrigue, misfortune, love and history like most of Dumas' books.

The black tulip: Cornelius von Baerle lives only to cultivate the elusive black tulip and win a magnificent prize for its creation.
