Thanks to Oak, Pili has escaped from the Fruditilla fortress and its supervising witch-turned-patron-saint. There, from the dungeon where they were both imprisoned, she has freed a new companion. Mistreated by her captor for days, this friend is only barely able to walk. . . . To save her, Pili has no choice: she must set out in search of amurds and concoct a remedy as soon as possible! However, Oak is reluctant and suggests abandoning the young woman, fearing she will slow them down, which infuriates his protégée. How will the two companions manage to find common ground?
