Outlaw valley

The book concerns Vegas Bertow who is wanted by Pat for bank robbery, horse stealing, breaking jail, and attempted murder. Pat has been notified by another lawman, Marshal Fremont of Manhattan City, that he has Vegas Bertow in jail. Pat is to come pick up the criminal but don't forget to bring the 'reward' money'. A turn of events when Pat arrives at Manhattan City he is pistol whipped and then accused of killing, shooting in fact, the mayor of the town in the back.
