Summary

In the 35th installment of Robert B. Parker's Spenser series, seasoned gumshoe Spenser investigates the activities of an adulterous wife. When he relays his findings to the cuckold and gets paid for his efforts, Spenser is relieved to have the case behind him. However, Spenser soon finds that the case is far from over as three bodies are discovered. As it turns out, the wife's lover is the leader of a terrorist conspiracy, and Spenser is his next victim.
