Summary
In 1912, book collector Harry Widener boards the Titanic with a recently acquired rare volume. After the ship's sinking, both Widener and the book are lost, and his mother later establishes the Harry Widener Memorial Library at Harvard University in his honor. Decades later, Harvard student Violet Hutchins, working as a page at the Widener Library, experiences a series of unexplained events connected to the library's past. As she investigates, Violet uncovers a story that links her own life to Widener's legacy.
