Paul returns and is enlisted into helping to run the estate. Though it brings conflict with Archie and Lexie, which allows Archie to think about his role and the world beyond Glenbogle. Sister Lizzie arrives and provides Archie and Lexie with some dilemmas. Molly and Andrew's deepening relationship falters when a revelation leaves Molly reeling. She seeks solace in Golly, whose feelings for her are stronger than before; arrival of Jessica forces him to take a crash course in parenting.
